Job Short Description

What we are seeking:

We’re seeking an Event Manager to help grow Securitize’s presence through its own events, as well as through events it attends, with the aim of increasing investors using the Securitize platform.This is a great opportunity to work in one of the most important, fastest-growing industries in the world, and with a great, global team. Note: Securitize is a completely remote team. This role would support a supervisor based in Austin, Texas, and would work with colleagues in California, New York, Miami, Portugal, Argentina, Spain, and more. 

Specific Responsibilities

• Identifying the best events for Securitize to attend (based upon what we do and who we are trying to reach).
• Negotiating sponsorship and speaking opportunities, and managing the logistics around event participation (branded presence, marketing collateral, shipping, etc.).
• Organizing approximately six Securitize-sponsored small events across the US, as well as 1-2 larger events, per year.
• Ensuring Securitize’s own events and the events which it sponsors convey a high-touch image consistent with what private markets investors and observers expect, yet executed in a manner which is financially responsible.

Requirements

• Experience managing branded events, preferably which demonstrably resulted in new investor acquisition.
• Experience securing sponsorship of/speaking at others’ events, and in negotiating the best speaking positions and terms, strongly preferred.
• Experience with the major events in private markets and digital assets preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience)
