What You’ll Do

• Help in leading and executing the vision of Gelato’s Product Design team to create the best designed products in the web3 industry.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to transform quantitative and qualitative data into intuitive designs and exceptional user experiences.
• Advocate for user experience to internal Product and Engineering stakeholders.
• Identify user research and experiment opportunities to enhance user experience.
• Define and maintain Gelato’s design system.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience with the entire product design lifecycle.
• Strong portfolio of beautifully designed products with significant user engagement.
• Proficiency in using Figma.
• Ability to work autonomously with broad guidelines and minimal oversight.
• Excellent communication skills and openness to feedback.
• Experience in leading design teams and cross-functional collaboration with engineering, product, and growth teams.
• Experience in user research and translating user data into compelling designs and user experiences.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with developer tooling / developer-focused products.
• Knowledge of web3 and a deep understanding of web3 user flow (wallet, signings, switching networks), either from working with a DeFi company or protocol, or being a DeFi power user.
