What you’ll do as a Senior Data Engineering Tech Lead:
You will lead the development efforts to support our data platform at scale. There are terabytes of new data generated each day on blockchains and we need to selectively index the relevant data for our investors.
Data Architecture: Design and implement scalable and efficient data architectures
Data: ensure data quality, performance, and security, while optimizing processes for speed and efficiency.
Technology Stack: Evaluate, select, and implement cutting-edge data engineering technologies and tools to support the company’s evolving data needs.
Support the engineers on your team through career development and continuous feedback
Drive technical discovery through collaboration with your team and potential customers (protocols)
Implement software alongside your team members in addition to architecting the best solution for the use cases
Collaborate with our stakeholders (business, QA, product) across the company to define milestones and deliveries for new functionality to be added to existing applications
Take an active part in improving and optimizing the system’s core
Care about agility as much as you care about scalability-we continue to launch products very quickly and are looking for a team that can pivot at a moment’s notice
Work with your team under quick deadlines to design, build, and deliver innovative applications.
Ensure alignment with software development standards and methodologies
Facilitate production issues as incident commander and be part of a cross-functional team with end-to-end responsibility for the final product
Need to haves
3+ years of working experience in the domain of data engineering
Quantifiable experience large-scale mission-critical production service with distributed and micro-service architecture
Experience working in a small team of engineers (5 or less) in a high pace and highly productive environment
Experience working remote in a setting that has minimal managerial oversight
Strong knowledge of Data warehouse solutions and distributed event streaming platforms as well as SQL databases
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Nice to haves
7+ years of working experience with applications based on NodeJS, Ruby and/or other languages
Understanding and/or experience of Typescript and NestJs
Understanding and/or experience of Web3 frameworks and libraries
