You’ll be joining a growing team that currently includes 50+ people overall and around 20+ people in the Safe{Wallet} team. This role is based in Berlin (🇩🇪), but we also have awesome teammates in A Coruna (🇪🇸), Zug (🇨🇭) and Lisbon (🇵🇹). 

💻 About the role:

As a QA Automation Engineer you will be responsible for developing and executing automated test cases, identifying and reporting defects, and maintaining automated testing solutions for Safe{Wallet} projects.

🗃️ What you will be doing: 

• Conception, implementation and development of automated tests for the Safe{Wallet} projects

• Use modern testing frameworks for both frontend and backend components to ensure software functionality meets requirements

• Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to developers on how to improve code quality and maintainability

• Continuous optimization of the test automation strategy and test automation framework

• Implement CI/CD pipelines to ensure automated tests are executed and reported efficiently

• Analysis and documentation of test results as well as reporting of errors to the appropriate team

• Debug and troubleshoot issues in application code and automated test scripts

🎒 What you will bring: 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field

• A solid background in software quality assurance, including:

  • Exploratory testing;

  • Test automation;

  • API testing

• Knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and processes

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, with an understanding of single-page applications

• Familiarity with our wider tech stack:

  • React [front-end web-core app];

  • Node.js [backend REST APIs];

  • Cypress and Postman [automation tools];

  • TestRails [Test management Tool] 

• Experience writing acceptance and E2E tests, performance testing and load testing
