Full Stack Lead Engineer, Nezha (Rust, Solana, React, AWS)

Description

Would you like to join Nezha (nezha.fi), a new, exciting and innovative initiative that will revolutionise the gaming industry? We are looking for a Lead Engineer to own our smart contract development and staking platform, which together are crucial to our success.

Funded and led by cytpo industry and gaming experts, we have successfully launched our Community MVP. This is an amazing opportunity to participate in the next stage of our development including the public launch of our product. Sitting at the conflation of Decentralised Finance (DeFi), Gamification and the Solana blockchain, Nezha harnesses the power of yield aggregation in an exciting new format.

About the Role

As the Lead Engineer, you will be part of an open, collaborative and entrepreneurial environment. You will evolve the smart contract in Rust. The smart contract is the heart of the platform and will be used to manage the equivalent of millions of USD.

We have built an entirely new platform to deliver our staking and gamification proposition. In addition to smart contract development, you will be responsible for evolving on-going development of the staking platform and operational performance. Working closely with the CTO, you will collaborate with Community Team members and engineering suppliers.

You will also take a lead in the launch of our native token.

You will be naturally inquisitive and thrive on self-learning. You will enjoy working with an ambiguous brief and setting yourself goals.

Ideally you will have…

Good communication skills in English
Solid professional experience with Rust
React development experience
A passion for quality.
Good practices in software development including TDD, BDD and domain modelling
Experience, or a strong interest, in the blockchain
Flexible work hours with some overlap with CET timezone.
AWS (CI/CD pipelines)
AWS (ECS, PostGres, K8)

Bonus points for:

Professional or personal experience with the blockchain, especially staking and liquidity mining
Experience with Solana
AWS DevOps
Worked in a fast start-up or scale-up environment
Worked on distributed, low latency and high availability systems.
Understand the challenges of managing state in scaled applications.
Working on financial systems
