Job Short Description

This unique role will be at the forefront of decentralized innovation, requiring a blend of technical and strategic expertise. As the CTO of Haven1 Network, you will take the lead in steering our technological vision and strategy. You'll have the opportunity to work with our exceptional team to develop the network that will revolutionize the role of blockchain technology in the global financial system.

Key responsibilities:

Technical Strategy and Vision: Provide technical leadership and set the strategic direction for our blockchain protocol development, evaluate technologies, and respond to stakeholder feedback.

Team Management: Oversee the technology team, including hiring, training, and mentoring staff, fostering an inclusive and high-performance culture.

Product Development: Work closely with Product Design and Development teams in the development of our DAO-based Layer1 blockchain protocol from concept to launch, ensuring it meets our standards for security and scalability.

Smart Contract Management: Oversee the development, testing, and auditing of smart contracts to ensure their functionality and security.

Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) Management: Implement best practices for software development, ensuring quality assurance, risk management, and timely delivery of software solutions.

Scalability and Interoperability: Ensure our DAO can efficiently scale and interact seamlessly with other blockchain systems.

Developer Ecosystem: Foster strong relationships across the wider ecosystem and developer communities as well as acting as a thought leader, engaging with regulators and financial institutions.

Qualifications:

BSc/BA in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

Proven experience in a CTO or similar leadership role.

Proven track record in building and managing high-performance software teams.

Strategic thinker, data-driven decision-maker, and strong communicator.

Passion for community engagement and fostering technical relationships.

Experience with managing all stages of the software development lifecycle.

Strong knowledge of software architecture, cloud computing, and data management.

Deep understanding of blockchain technology and DAOs.

Proficiency in writing, testing, and auditing smart contracts.

Understanding of decentralized governance models and incentive structures.

Knowledge of legal and regulatory considerations for DAOs.
